What I have learned from my research

Mood board

Above is a mood board that I created which featured a lot of inspiration for my work. I have included several images related to the horror genre, and also images taken directly from my favourite horror films. The mood board is very dark in aesthetic and in theme, as this is the approach that I plan to take when creating my own products. It illustrates my ideas based on the horror genre, and also addresses many of the sub genres such as slasher horrors, psychological horrors, and paranormal horrors. Most of the images here have been taken form well known horror films which have done very well in the box office, and so have clearly pleased their demographic. I will be using this mood as reference as I continue throughout this project, particularly when creating my ancillary texts, as this is where I really plan to follow themes and conventions.
